Hi, I’m ADam Barfoot.

I enjoy helping my clients build resilience, strength, and courage in their lives. I work with adults and teenagers who want to improve their responses to stress, anxiety, and adversity. My areas of specialty include helping people improve their emotional intelligence, helping people strengthen their recovery from addiction, and helping athletes improve their mental health and performance.

Improving our mental health directly affects our performance, whether we are on the sports field, in the gym, at home, at school, or our workplace. Working with me will help you improve your self-confidence, improve your emotional intelligence, learn mental skills, and be prepared to face challenges.

Adam is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Mental Health Service Provider in Tennessee. He holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Adam is also a CrossFit Level-Two Trainer, and has experience as a fitness coach.


My Approach

I use Adlerian therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy in my strengths-based approach to help my clients face challenges, improve their thoughts and emotions, and win in their lives.
